For this incredible experience, Wanderlust Tours will be partnering with Luckey’s Woodsman, experts in backcountry cooking techniques, to teach guests about foraging techniques, identification of flora and fauna, and how simple ingredients that can be found all around us in mother nature can be used to make and accentuate stunningly delicious dishes! After some hopefully fortuitous foraging, we will gather around the dining table for a four-course meal prepared by Luckey’s Woodsman!

Join us for a stunning sunset hike at Fort Rock followed by a night of immersive stargazing! Fort Rock is an absolutely incredible stargazing destination, lying just north of the newly designated Oregon Outback Dark Sky Sanctuary. As a whole, the Oregon Outback is the largest contiguous dark sky shed in the United States, boasting some of the best stargazing in the entire world.

Our Paulina Creek Hike is part of our Accessible Tour Series with AdvenChair! The tour is open to both the public and those with adaptive needs.

We will begin our adventure along the crystal clear waters of Tumalo Creek. During our hike, we’ll experience a magnificent ecosystem filled with burgeoning flora and fauna such as spring migratory birds. Our route will take us through a section of Tumalo canyon where we will immerse ourselves in some of Central Oregon’s finest geologic features.

The Geminids Meteor Shower is one of the most plentiful meteor showers that grace our night skies each year! Cruising on snowshoes under the night sky, we will immerse ourselves in the winter wonderland of the Deschutes National Forest, enjoying a cup of delectable hot cocoa as we meander through the powdery snow!

Snowshoeing through the lush and verdant forest of the Central Oregon Cascades, we will descend upon a Michaelangelo-esque creation, an amazing snow built amphitheater where a crackling bonfire awaits. Gathering around the fire, we will usher in the New Year with a champagne toast at the turn of midnight!

Capture Oregon’s only National Park with this scenic Photography Workshop in collaboration with Bend Photo Tours. This overnight excursion will have us camped along the edge of Diamond Lake with remarkable vistas of Mt. Thielsen and other Oregon peaks. While the campsite is serene, the real treasure lies just south - Crater Lake National Park. Alongside some inspiring hikes, Toni Toreno of Bend Photo Tours will help you fully capture the beauty of Crater Lake at sunset as well as in the heart of night, with the stars shining brightly on the moonless evening.
As an extra bonus of celestial magic, the Perseids Meteor Shower will be nearing its peak during our night of astrophotography!

Enjoy a delicious, specially-catered dinner right by the water's edge, followed by a stunning, Naturalist-Guided canoe tour on the peaceful waters of the Cascade Lakes, or the Deschutes River.

Guided tours of Crater Lake are simply a must. There's so much fascinating cultural, geological, and natural history to learn! Explore Oregon's only National Park with our Naturalist Guides. This is the ultimate family vacation trip!

From Bend, we travel deep into sagebrush country, where we spend three nights and four days uncovering history, hiking through deserts and forests, exploring ranches, and relaxing in hotels established in the early 1900s.


Enjoy a delicious, specially-catered dinner, followed by a magnificent snowshoe trip out to the quiet of the nighttime forest. There, you can relax around a hand-carved snow amphitheater while enjoying some hot drinks made with locally-distilled spirits, locally-made desserts, and the amazing ambiance of the old-growth forest at night.
