Snowshoe

SUGGESTED PACKING LIST

Layers

  • 2 pair snow gloves, 1 pair of lightweight gloves, neck warmer

  • Long Underwear for sleeping- top & bottom

  • Snow pants- Waterproof Shell with layers underneath

  • Snow Jacket- Waterproof Shell with layers underneath

  • Extra clothing! All clothes will be wet by end of day. Bring extras of everything to change into dry, warm clothing. Do not wear cotton.

Sun Protection

  • Sunglasses and/or Goggles, Winter Hat or two, Chapstick, sunscreen (if needed)

Footwear

  • Winter Boots, Gaiters, Wool socks (at least 2 pair)

Miscellaneous gear 

  • Backpack to hold sleeping bag, all clothes, & personal gear 

  • Water Bottle- 1 quart minimum, camera, headlamp and extra batteries, hand warmers, snacks if desired

Personal Hygiene

  • Toothbrush/paste

Sleeping

  • Winter sleeping bags, Sleeping pad

Food

  • All food-related items: dishes, utensils, cookware, stove/fuel, food, coffee, water to refill your bottle, and local libations. Please inform us of any food allergies as soon as you book.

Personal Hygiene

  • All toilet-related items: toilet paper, bags to pack out the waste, hand sanitizer.

Miscellaneous gear 

  • Shovels for digging our caves, snowshoes, first aid kit, fire pit and firewood.
