  • TUMALO MOUNTAIN TOURS (SUMMER) Moderate Difficulty.
    Half-Day Tour. Available June-October.
    3-mile hike taking us up 1,600ft to the 7,800ft summit of a shield volcano, with incredible views of the Cascade Range. A local’s favorite!

  • TUMALO MOUNTAIN (WINTER) Moderate Difficulty.
    Overnight Snow Camping. Available November-March.
    For groups looking for something a little more adventurous, consider an overnight snowshoe trip! Snowshoe through the forest, build your own sleeping hole, hike to the summit, and enjoy the warmth of a bonfire at night.

  • SMITH ROCK STATE PARK TOURS Easy-Moderate Difficulty.
    Half-Day Tour. Available Year-Round.
    4-mile hike beginning at the Crooked River, winding around volcanic spires to the iconic Monkey Face Pillar. Option to turn around at this point, or head up Misery Ridge to gain 600ft of elevation with stunning views of the Cascade Range and Crooked River.

  • LAVA LANDS TOURS — Easy.
    Half-Day Tour. Available March-November.
    Hike through an immense lava field from a 6,700 year-old volcano— it’s like walking on another planet! Learn all about this cinder cone’s volcanic history and its effects on the surrounding land.

  • BENHAM FALLS TOURSEasy.
    Half-Day Tour. Available March-November.
    3-mile hike bringing us along the famed Deschutes River, through the forest, and along the ancient lava flows that create the incredible, wild whitewater that gives the falls its name.

  • FORT ROCK / CRACK IN THE GROUND TOURS Easy.
    Full-Day Tour. Available Year-Round.
    A hike through the Crack in the Ground: a high-walled tension fracture, and incredible geological formation. Or, hike through Fort Rock: an Ice Age lake bed, surrounded by a volcanic tuff ring. Learn all about Central Oregon’s volcanic history and formation!

  • CASCADE LAKES HIGHWAY TOUR — Easy.
    Half-Day Tour. Available Year-Round.
    A scenic tour of Bend’s iconic mountain highway. Several stops will be made along the route to soak in the wonders of the mountains and lakes.  Includes short hikes with access to stunning mountain vistas and incredible alpine lakes— over 120 lakes along Cascade Lakes Highway!

  • MCKENZIE RIVER TOUR — Easy.
    Half-Day Tour. Available Year-Round.
    3-mile hike cresting the Cascade Mountains to the greener side of Oregon, where we’ll walk through the lush environment next to the thundering waterfalls of the aquamarine-colored Mckenzie River.

  • METOLIUS RIVER TOUR — Easy.
    Half-Day Tour. Available Year-Round.
    See the source of this roaring river, bubbling up from underground springs beneath the earth. Walk along the river’s edge and hear naturalist interpretation in the shadow of the immense Black Butte.

  • FALL RIVER TOUR — Easy.
    Half-Day Tour. Available March-November.
    Hike along a peaceful, wildlife-filled river to see old-growth trees and the spot where the water bubbles out of the earth to form Fall River itself.

  • BLACK BUTTE SUMMIT TOUR — Moderate Difficulty.
    Half-Day Tours. Available May-October.
    A steep hike with an incredible reward. Views galore available during the entirety of this 1.9-mile climb to the panoramic summit, gaining 1,600 feet of elevation. Stunning views of the Cascade Range and Metolius River.
