Restoring a scenic area in Central Oregon
THINK WILD is a wildlife conservation center that serves five counties in Central and Eastern Oregon. Their mission is to inspire our high desert community to care for and protect our native wildlife through education, conservation, rescue, and rehabilitation. We are teaming up with THINK WILD this fall for a restoration project along the stunning Deschutes River. The goal of the project is to restore a stretch of land along the Deschutes by planting a variety of native riparian plants to provide a healthier habitat for beaver and other wildlife. The planting will be taking place at Tetherow Crossing Park in Redmond, Oregon. Wanderlust will provide transportation from our office in Bend!
