Bend Camerata Cave Concert - Bend Oregon.jpg

Wanderlust Tours is proud to present another installment our Art in Nature outdoor performance series! Super talented local a Cappella group Bend Camerata performed at Pronghorn Resort inside a cave!

After a 3/4 mile walk, we arrived at a stunning 80,000 year-old cave. One was greeted by a naturalist guide and experienced an interpretive tour of the cave.

We settled inside this magical acoustic wonder for a vocal concert. Bend Camerata’s spectacular 12-person a Cappella performance bounced off the cave ceiling with crispness that delighted the soul!

Guests were treated to vertical tastings of limited vintages no longer available on tap and dined on artisanal pizza, bavarian pretzels and charcuterie. As guests experienced the delights of Crux’s hard work, Zach shared stories of the beers.

After dinner, we departed for the mighty Cascade Range where our exploration on snowshoes under the starry skies began!

Tucked deep in the forest, our naturalist guides shared the sport of snowshoeing while heading to our destination- a spectacular, hand-carved amphitheater in the snow.

Cheers!

Special Places deserve Special Attention

Cascade Lakes Clean Up

Wanderlust Tour’s staff and local volunteers headed out to the Cascade Lakes to clean ‘em up. The summer months see a great amount of use and this area needs some TLC after the season.

With low water levels in the fall, it helps spotting trash and accidentally left behind items. We visited Sparks Lake, Homser Lake, and Elk Lake.

We always appreciate the help in keeping these places clean. Stay tuned for more volunteer opportunities:
