Our Favorite Tours

Let’s start off with what we know best when it comes to fun in Bend, our tours. At Wanderlust, we love what we do. We are incredibly fortunate to be able to spend our days playing in the great outdoors and inspiring our guests to do the same. Being able to take guests to places they would likely never find themselves, such as in the middle of a high elevation lake in the dead of night, never gets old for us. Naturally, we love all of our tours, but some surely stand out as the most fun and magical to each of us. Check out our favorites!

Bend is home to over 25 local craft breweries, cideries, and distilleries - Bevel, Crux, Deschutes, Worthy, Cascade Lakes, Bend Cider - we could go on and on. There are so many incredible options that our guides couldn’t actually decide on a “Best of” list. Instead, we put together a list of our favorite tap houses and bars, all of which feature rotating options of some of Bend’s best craft beer, cider, and spirits!

Bend is surrounded by some absolutely stunning lakes, rivers, canyons, mountains, and more. Part of our mission at Wanderlust Tours is to instill an appreciation and protection for the environment within our guests as it is the role of all of us to keep these natural areas pristine and beautiful. Bend is an outdoor adventurers’ dream! If you wake up early enough in the spring season, you could literally do every activity we have listed below in the same day. It would be a long day but you could do it! Paddling the rivers, biking the trails, skiing the volcanoes, sleeping under the stars, and so much more!

In an outdoor town like Bend, early mornings are a must, whether it be a backcountry snowboarding mission, a sunrise hike, or an early morning trail run with your pup(s), a morning caffeine boost is a necessity. Luckily, Bend is home to some amazing coffee & tea shops to get your morning fix!

With 300+ days of sunshine, Bend is the perfect place for a burgeoning food truck scene. You can find anything from authentic Mexican, classic American, vegan fusion, and much more!

Best Breakfast Spots in Bend

All of us at Wanderlust love a good breakfast. If you’re looking for a classic bagel sandwich, Rockin’ Daves is the place you need to be. For a quick bite while you’re on the go, we recommend Burrito Sunrise. If you’re planning on meeting some friends and polishing off a bloody mary or two, look no further than McKay’s Cottage. And last but certainly not least… there’s nothing quite like rolling out of your tent to the smell of crackling bacon and fresh coffee!
