Sunday, Aug 11th, 2024

Can’t make it for the 11th? The nights surrounding the 11th will also provide the opportunity to see meteors!
The Perseids begin on July 17th and end on August 24th. Please book our

ABOUT THE TOUR

Adventure: Join us on a high alpine lake for a night of celestial wonder! Far from any city lights, with the moon low on the horizon, there will be minimal light pollution, allowing the Perseids meteor shower to truly shine!

Naturalist Guided Experience:
We will journey up to the high elevation lakes in the Cascade Mountains. As the last of the sun’s light disappears behind the mighty Cascades, we will push out into the water. Shortly after hitting the water, the Perseids will begin their peak! We are also running a Perseids Meteor Shower Hike if you’d prefer to take to the hills!

During your journey, our naturalist guides will highlight the stunning geography, flora, and fauna of the area. They may impart an understanding of the heaven’s starlight illuminating the night sky. Age-old stories and myths mixed with astronomy will enlighten just as the stars and moon do!
