TITLE: Marketing Manager

POSITION: Full-time, permanent

WAGE: Hourly, 40 hours per week

BENEFITS: Worker’s compensation insurance, 50% Health Ins., Continuing Education fund

VACATION: Starting with 10 days per year, taken outside of June 1- Labor Day 


  • Organized and dependable, excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Amazing attention to detail
  • Minimum 2 years marketing experience
  • Self-initiated to create new tasks and projects
  • Ability to connect and maintain relationships with lodging, brewery, and business partners
  • Computer skills - Word, Excel, Email, Google Calendar, Photoshop, Social Media, Google Analytics, Squarespace (or similar website building and management)
  • Love and knowledge of the outdoors, especially familiar with Central Oregon's lakes, rivers, caves, trails, desert region etc.
  • Professional demeanor and appearance
  • Special event planning and coordination


  • Build relationships with key industry partners at resorts and breweries and manage booking through third parties
  • Manage Wanderlust website, ensure presence in the community, collect and interpret data via Google Analytics
  • Manage Wanderlust Social Media presence on Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, Instagram, and Twitter
  • Develop strategies and tactics to raise awareness and increase sales
  • Produce valuable and engaging content for our website and blog that attracts and converts our target groups.
  • Measure and report performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight, and assess against goals.
  • Design, distribute, and evaluate advertising opportunities
  • Experiment with a variety of organic and paid acquisition channels - content creation, publicity, social media, lead generation campaigns, copywriting, performance analysis, and more
  • Take reservations and schedule tours as needed
  • Initiate self-directed tasks and projects
  • Photography skills helpful
