WANDERLUST TOURS OFFERS FULL SLATE OF TRIPS THROUGH FALL
 

           BEND, Ore. – Wanderlust Tours is offering many of its daily, half-day and evening tours throughout the fall, including half-day Cave Tours, Canoe and Kayak trips on the Cascade Lakes and Deschutes River and Volcano Tours into Newberry National Volcanic Monument.  All half-day tours depart daily at 9 am and 1:30 pm.  Starlight Canoe Tours depart nightly at 7 pm. 

Desert Cave Tours are available daily and are not weather-dependent since groups are protected inside remote lava caves during the tour. Naturalist guides lead small groups twice daily through these underground caverns located on ponderosa and sage land east of Bend.  Guides provide in-depth interpretation on the formation of the caves, the wildlife habitat, and the many uses of the caves over time from Native American dwellings to cold storage for early Bend residents.  Wanderlust Tours is the only commercial guide company to be permitted to lead tours through many of Bend’s fascinating, remote lava tubes. 

Half-day guided Canoe and Kayak Tours and Brews and Views Canoe Tours (beer tasting tours in partnership with Cascade Lakes Brewing Company) are available daily on both the Cascade Lakes and the Deschutes River.  Starlight Canoe Tours, exploring the Cascade Lakes and Deschutes River by the light of the star-filled sky, are available nightly at 7 pm.

And half-day Volcano Tours, experiencing the cataclysmic geology of Newberry Caldera, are available until the snow falls.
