BEND, Ore. – Wanderlust Tours’ July series of Moonlight Canoe Tours will be offered during the evenings surrounding the full moon on July 10-16, 2011, each night from 8 pm to midnight.   Moonlight Canoe Tours, which take participants paddling on a Cascade mountain lake under the light of the full moon, include desserts baked locally by Sparrow Bakery and hot drinks.  Kids 8 and older welcome on Moonlight Canoe Tours.  $65 per person.

            Starlight Canoe Tours take place at night in the remoteness of the Cascade Range while the stars punctuate the darkness providing illumination on the lake’s surface.  With Wanderlust Tours’ naturalist guides, paddle the waters, gaze for shooting stars and listen to the hush of the nighttime forest.  Dessert and hot drinks will be served on the lakeshore.  Starlight Canoe Tours are offered nightly from 8 pm to midnight, except during full moon evenings, and include transportation, canoe equipment/instruction, guides, dessert and hot drinks.  Kids 8 and older welcome on Starlight Canoe Tours.  $65 per person.

            All tours, guided by local naturalist guides who will share vibrant natural and cultural history interpretation specific to each area visited, include transportation, instruction, equipment and all food and drinks. 

Half-day Canoe and Kayak Trips, Desert Cave Tours, Volcano Tours, and GPS Eco-Challenge trips are available daily at 9 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.   Half-day tours range from $45-$55 per person, with children’s rates available.
